Buildcubemap Error

Every time i got to build the cubemaps in my maps the console comes up with this error "carn't load vtex.dll". Any ideas what that means and how to correct it. And HDR is enabled on my map
 
Yep the compile is good. It is just a room with Alyx, a white light texture, shadow_control, cubemap, player start. This map was just a test to see if the cubemapping was only messing up with my other map but it seems its not.. Any ideas. Ive tried all of the easy stuff. Reset SDK and game config...
 
vtex creates materials out of image files. Since a cubema is more or less 6 screens taken from the origin of the cubemap I would assume that Vtex is called upon by Source to convert these screens into materials that can be used in source..

But your VTEX seems to be nonfunctional. A fix might be a reinstall of the SDK, although it might not. I dont know.
 
Ive already tried that. Its weird sometimes it works and sometimes it dosnt
 
Then I am once more beaten by source. I have no clue.
