buying games on steam?

Arent we suppose to be able to buy games on steam right now? I was just thinking that I hadn't beaten blue shift and I don't have the game, and I could download it via steam, and test it out. Can't we buy just one game? I looked around, couldn't find anything. Maybe I;m stupid

Later on once Steam is Finialized and Hl2 is released you will be a ble to purchase games VIa steam. Not atm tho, so its pointless looking. IMO I wouldnt buy anything off steam, there are some really l337 h4x0rz out there that would love to have your money.
