can i turn the stun stick off or...

i'm fed up pressing 1 to switch to the gravity gun (yes i know i can use G, but 1 is closer to where my fingers are) and ended up with the stun stick, and also with using mousewheel up to take me the the last weapon when i'm armed with gravgun and ending up with the stick again.
can i change the weapon order or completely cancel out the stun stick/crow bar without needing to start my own server with it disabled?

Yes you do... What if you wanted to change your name to something like Gordon Freeman? Then you would have to use quotes, otherwise your name would just be Gordon...

Yup exactly... If there is a space in the command, you MUST use quotes, or it doesn't work

such as those ent commands that require like 5 spaces and all

Bind "f" to phys_swap rather than 1. It's closer to your fingers, and you don't need that flashlight, anyway.

If I were you, Boyd, I'd completely rebind my weapons to other keys, so that you can whip them out with a single button press rather than two. It makes a huge difference in your gameplay to not have to worry about the stupid weapon slots.

I find it extremely annoying too. Hopefully Valve change this later on, since my binds sometimes randomly don't feel like saving themselves.

P.S: Are you BOYD from the Adventure Game Studio forums? I was "The Dude", but I rarely post. I just lurk a few times a day.

Stardog - I found my custom binds kept getting reset everytime I quit the game. So first I had a backup config2.cfg that I copied manually and renamed all the time, but that was annoying. So then I made it read-only, and now it's fine.

Put your keybinds in a file named "autoexec.cfg" rather than in config.cfg.

or even better, make a userconfig.cfg and just pust exec userconfig.cfg in your autoexec.cfg. That way, you can easily switch between different userconfigs.
