Hey guys new here blah blah. Ok what I want to do is take the model from css of the d eagle and put it into hl2 instead of the other gun. If i just rename the files to that of the hl2 gun and put in the new files do you suppose the thing would work.. or does this just sounds stupid?

COULD work, but i doubt it, since the animations have different lenghts

I am new here to posted a similar question. like half-life 1 they made the mod where you played it with CS weapons so I think they could probley do that. but sorry i can't help

I got 2 more chapters to beat... after that I will try because I would love to go through the whole game with just an eagle.

Possibly.. As the one user said, the animations would be messed up. It could be easily coded in(with animations to fit).

Some animations wouldn't work, since the animations have names, and if the engine calls on an animation and the weapon doesn't have the name of that animation, it wouldn't play(I think I am right here... heh)
