I bought half-life 2 some years ago, i'm not sure which version/episode it is but it says "game of the year edition" and has 2005 written on it. It also has a list of the following games:
half-life 2
half-life 2: death match
half-life: source
counter-strike: source
I haven't played it for over a year and it hasn't been installed for a long time. A few minutes ago i installed it.
Here is the process and problem:
1. During the installation it doesn't ask for a product-key
2. Steam won't start when not connected to the internet
3. I connected to the internet, updated steam and created an account
4. Still doesn't ask for a product-key
5. Still can't play any of the games (half-life 2, half-life 2: death match, half-life: source, counter-strike: source)
6. Can't find a place to type in the product-key
What do i do? kill some one a valve, cause i really feel like, i paid for their crappy product.
