I can't figure out what I broke... I get this error, game was working fine I removed some maps from the folder so that I could send the mod out to the mappers to have the updated version and now I get this error
Code:
Missing RecvProp for DT_PlayerResource - m_iPing/002
Host_EndGame: CL_ParseClassInfo_EndClasses: CreateDecoders failed.

I've spent the last hour trying to figure it out the m_iPing is there and all that good stuff i'm so bloody confused I'd probably be happier running head first into a wall. Anyway I'm out of time for now I have to get to class, any help is greatly appreciated. Like I said the code is there and I hadn't even looked at this second of the code until I got this error.

Oh yeah and I tried putting the map files back into the folder, but nothing. I had backed up the mod folder before I removed the map files and I restored it and still nothing.

i dont know anything about coding but why dont you put the maps back in the folder and send the mod and then get them to replace the maps with the updated ones?

It's not a map problem, sorry, it's a problem initializing the game. Can get to the menu and such all works fine, but try to load a map and blamo, problems. When I get home from school I'll have to send the *.dll's to some of the testers and see if it'll run on their computers.

Sorry for my hardcore post, I was a bit annoyed this morning when I couldn't show off my nights work before heading to school. :P Some good work, it doesn't even initialize the maps.

With that said, (hehe) I did try that but no avail. I just removed some maps that were sent to me by the mappers for my personal use and didn't have time to ask them if I could package them with the release.

Alright I got it working, a bit embarracing, was just a matter of rebuilding the code (no changes) and using the server.dll and the client.dll. Until now I've only used the client.dll. Thanks for putting up with me.

For future reference, it's because your Server.dll is sending information to the client that the client isn't programmed to understand.

I have to agree, Osilo, your side-scrolling idea is feasible and different enough to be popular. You've also got the balls to actually code it, which sets you apart from all of the other wacky ideas.
