What if everything that went wrong on "A Red Letter Day" was not caused by what you thought? What if your teleport ripped a hole in space and time? Now you must travel through time to correct the events and set right your past.
Causality Effect
“A Red Letter Day Gone Wrong”

It’s been 4 months or since I started my Single Player mod. So it’s finally done. Well what can I say now…… Hope you enjoy it. I put Easter Eggs in every map and there are four different endings to get by killing different people during the boss fight. There are FPS issue spots and I am sorry for this, but ill admit that unlike other mods out there. Just try to have fun and take your time. No need to rush a great thing. GO PLAY!

More screens on the website.

Going to try it out right now.

EDIT: - A bunch of spoilers –

Oh well I finished it a couple of minutes ago. Nice work with it I must say, but it was a tad too short (about one and a half hour) and the 4 different endings could've been better.
The basic story was pretty cool, but you didn't really know what was happening at some points during the game and why Alyx just of a sudden turned against you? Killing her own father just like that (which was rather funny in my play through because just as Alyx was about kill Eli he said "You remember my wife Azian, do-" *BLAM* )?

The level design was good, some places were very nice while some other pretty average but overall good.
You maybe went a little “overkill” with all the Striders and Gunships (especially at the last fight), it’s sure more challenging but it can get frustrating to the more average gamers, especially people who play on hard.

I liked the use of the Half-Life 2 music at some points though, because I’m a really fan of the music so that’s a big plus if you ask me.

All in all it’s a good mod, one of best singleplayer mods out for Half-Life 2 at the moment.

7/10

By the way, I came across a bug at the end of the mod. If you face the fence, opposite way were you fight the Gunships and were Alyx disappear, jump up on fence and slowly walk towards the little "walkway" that stick out from the building. Once on it, run left and you'll see this.

You can also jump down and survive, but you’ll eventually die.

Im installing it now. Probably going to play tmr. Have a lot to do tonight. The trailer was really cool. Any chance you can tell us what sound that is?

i played it through and i had no idea i was supposed to shoot anybody during the flashbacks. What endings do i get for killing each of the people? I'm in no mood to play the whole thing over 3 more times just yet.

BTW was anyone else feel their system chug to a crawl at some parts of this mod? I had a few points where my comp crashed during loads and at one point ran out of memory. And my system is normally good enough to run vanilla hl2 with fakefactory textures with everything exept aa turned on.

It ran fine on my system, except that the loading-times were horrible long.
