wtf is this, seriously, why can't i play a game i bought legitimately... why does it have to authenticate 23948579238475928375982735982735235 times. that's overkill.

someone help? this sucks a lot... I've been waiting to play this game for forever and now it's not working for crap...

have you tried re-intalling? what's the error msg you are getting? I got one about a .iso error 1334 or something and i fixed it by removing Steam alltogether and reinstalling - I think others have had this error too and found various ways to reinstall and it seems to have fixed itself for at least some of them.
