Change the crosshair, possible?

I just recently started playing HL2 (2 days ago) and would like to change the crosshair to something a little more visible. Is it possible, how would I go about it, is there a site I should visit? I only want to change it for single player, and would like to add color other than white. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Let me guess..You've got the big Q for a crosshair?

Nope, no big "q", but I have read about that problem...I found a www.bullseyecrosshairs.com too that has a couple replacements. I would be happy if I could just change the color to a red or green to make it stand out better.

I find it really anoying that people can't just tell you something and instead give you a link to a stupid site that takes you about five minutes to find the info your looking for.
