I think it's just people that don't follow games that closely. I think it's more a case of being too trusting rather than dumb.

either they will just ship the winner a cd-r w/ the stolen build/alpha on it or they will give em nothing...i doubt it will be nothing because they would be sued so easily by the winner, if the seller accepted the payment

then again if your dumb enough to pay $66+ for this fake than you deserve to be ripped the hell off
