How is Civ 4.....is it good?

Very :D

It has its low points, and its high points though.

If you're not a very patient person, then don't bother with the game. I have the problem where, sometimes, I waste my turns just moving a few troops.

Every turn, supposedly, should entail you checking up on each of your cities to see how they're producing, anticipating overgrowth problems in your cities, anticipating future construction in cities (chopping trees for wood, that sort of thing), building a few roads, and moving your units.

I'll sometimes just move all my units and be done with it.

Have you ever played Civ4 online?

The way you can set things up, time is no object. Once you've got a fair game going on, everybody can password their civs, and then the game starter can export and save the game.

Then, next time everybody has time to play together again, the guy with the save game starts a new server, loads the game, and everybody logs back into their civs.

:D

I tried to play it on hamachi with a few friends of mine, it didn't turn out good at all. :/

To me, the game seems best played in single-player, multiplayer you often have to wait on others and the game just becomes... tedious and dull. I tried it and it failed in my experience, but hey good luck with it. :)
