Cleaning Up HL2 Folder..

Hi peeps sorry if this is the wrong place or has been answered..Searched & didnt find an answer...

Ive been playing HL2 & CSS for ages now & was wondering if anyone knows how to clean up my HL2 folder....

Its currently standing at 12GIG....I would like someone too tell me what I can delete from the HL2 folder so that I can start again with a much smaller install...Kinda like when I first installed it onto my PC...

I wasnt everything gone...CSS, extra maps audio...anything that insnt part of the original install...

I want it to be all fresh but WITHOUT reinstalling the game...

See dont take this the wrong way but HTF do I know what folders to remove..That is in fact the whole point to my question..

I thought I asked the question well & wasnt funny in any way so why the smart arse response..

remove the hl2 and css folders from your steamapps folder. restart steam and then it should update them with the new clean folder.

I don't think restarting Steam would do anything. Launching the game would.
