So now i'm the dark fox. Great!

Apart from the fact I can't wear my helmet thing in public, ever... So what cool stuff can I do now?

I realised a new tactic to get through the last mission on the thieves guild ... I didnt stop for the battles in the sewers/catacombs/underground bits, I just ran right past them all. :D

When you wear the cowl, it's like you have a second identity, a second bounty account. You can kill people while wearing the cowl, increase your bounty and when you take it off - it's gone. When you put it back on, you will have your bounty back.

Ahh right I read something about this, but I tried it infront of the guards and it didnt work. So I have to change clothes out of their sight? It's all making sense now

Also, it's the GREY fox, not the Dark Fox.

Meh, close enough.

What do I get for clocking the mages guild / fighters guild / dark brotherhood?

You don't get too much for finishing guilds, if you want to get cool stuff do the Daedric Shrine quests.

Mages Guild - magical chest that duplicates ingredients, quarters at the top of the University Tower, the ability to get an apprentice to follow you round, and a staff of reanimation.

Dark Brotherhood - a quest every week and a murderer following you 'round. But personally the DB has the coolest questline of all the guilds.

Don't know about the fighters. Sorry.

Fighters guild is the chest which frankly never has anything worth taking in it. How is it that they find nothing? A dungeon chest usually has more than what you get out of this chest.

Plus at the end of the DB you can take whatever you want...and there is some pretty nice stuff in there.

I'm wondering if the rewards from the Dark Brotherhood scale with your level.

For example; the ring (black band) and necklace bonus rewards I got from the first few quests both give +18 to two stats. I was level 37 when I completed the quest. That is a pretty huge bonus. If you were to complete these quests at level 1, then this would be an incredible reward!

This leads me to believe that they won't be this good if you do the quests early.

What kind of bonus did you guys get from the ring and necklace?

(and approximately what level were you)

The DB quest was the first i did. My scales and black band sucks i can tell you that.
