Codename Gordon: Worth Playing?

I was just looking through Steam and I realised I can play Codename Gordon. Is it worth playing?

Its fun, its a good time to play about once through. Its not bad, but its mainly made for those people with steam waiting or not yet with Half Life 2.. but its fun, I'd reccomend playing it.

I tried it, but don't really dig the controls. I kind of like how they make fun of the whole 2D thing, though.

Its pretty fun but not fun enough to play regularly.

The game is worth a play just to see the sprites but it does not have a long play value.

I can make better 2D games i just cant find sweet sprites, someone give/make some sprites and you can get your name in a sweet game.
I'm thinking of a similar game but you wont use the mouse and will have more weapons.

But i dont think many sprite or pixel artists will see this message ;0)

Because that's what it was. Boring.

It's good to kill half an hour with, so yeah, it's worth playing. The controls are a bit odd...Gordon looks like he's moonwalking sometimes. :E

I played it for like 15 min but that whole time i thought it would have made a better contra clone.

It was fun. Someone should mod it. All the guns in HL2 and every area. I'd like to see the other zombies in 2d.

Someone do the sprites and i'll make a 2D version of HL2 (HL2D) with all vechiles and levels. As many sprites as the person can draw i can animate and put ingame ;0)

sounds like a plan, but would it be hard?

The hardest thing to do is find someone to do stuff like walking animations for the character, and another person to do backgrounds.

I can make the game no problem, think "mario"/"ninja turtles" made into a shooter ;0)
