Combine Destiny was very repetitive at certain points, sometimes very confusing, and even frustrating.

To explain the last point: I fall in a pit and I get the message on my screen "why do you jump in a pit without ladders?" and there is no other way to get out than to load a different game.

At a different point, I see some ammo in a box and I jump in, but when I'm in the box, I see there is no way to get out of it.

Ah well, i'm not here to argue. You can flame us on our forum if you want.

And yeah, I admit. Combine Destiny 1 was a long trek of zombie blasting, zombie blasting and more zombie blasting. I'm writing it to be more different then the average zombie gorefest.

But from a gameplay perspective, it shouldn't be there. A pit in which you can survive the fall is misleading the player, they will obviously think there is something worthy down there. Its poor gameplay.

I can't remember the map much, so I won't comment - but the premise was pretty meh. I'm hoping this one is better, and the screens don't look too bad.

I personally enjoyed Combine Destiny one. Hopefully two will not be another zombie bash fest, else it will surely be not as fun.

I also didn't mind the fact that there was a pit without ladders. Made me pay attention a bit more to where I was going.

CD was pretty below average imho, but nowhere near the suckfest that was City14

oh, and samon is right: a survivable pit without ladder or way out is just poor design, no question. it's the kind of dumb thing that will put people off continuing playing
