The Universal Union, or Combine as lesser minds refer to them, is an inter dimensional 'alliance' of sorts. There are many species in the UU, though humanity is the newest.

The common tendancy with most species at our current state of evolution is to resist the Union, fearing a loss of free will or total enslavement. Those homo sapiens you see serving the Union are those that have set aside their own fear for the good of all mankind.

Saga story? never heard of it. I just listen to more then gun fire while i play games. Alittle attention to detail and logical conclusion goes along way.

I recently checked on the Story Saga after about a year of not reading it, and found that the author has greatly improved it. He removed the absolutely wrong theories(such as the Black Mesa satellites causing the 7 Hours War or Combine invading Xen) and clearly seperated his personal speculation from known facts.

and that's why I was confused test seemed to whine everytime this storyline saga site is referenced. I never saw it before it's renovations.
