Combines vs. NPCs

I'm not sure about you lot, but after I completed the game, I headed straight to the console to set up some huge fights between combines and NPC's.

This is fun, but some problems arise. The players don't act as a squad. Combines will split up and attack at seperate times. I'd like to see them attacking as a squad, not as an individual. Same as humans. Also they tend to like to run into danger head on. Is there anyway of setting it so they act as a squad and have a high 'caution' level, meaning they won't just run into the middle of a battlefield?

Any console commands, mods etc? thx.
 
I believe you have to script it in a map, or do some heavy console commands to have them sqauded, I believe there is actually a console command to set squads, but high caution level may require some console commands though.
 
Yeah, i've been tryin the console comman of 'setname' then set squad, and it seems to work sometimes, but not very often.

I've been looking through the console list and I believe there's a 1-3 level of caution, but i might be completel off :\
 
basically you use ent_setname X on all the combine to give them all one name.

then you ent_fire X set_squad 1

at least i think thats how it works
