also clean up some of the crap that's loading on startup. You can either go to the programs that are launching and disable launch and get rid of the annoying tray icons as well. Or you can run msconfig and disable them or you can dig through your registry. I try to do this but right now 1/5 of my ram is still being taken up by background progs like firewall, virus scanner, msn, spam filter, steam, skype.

Anyways, here is some info:
I cleaned out everything on startup except Zone Alarm, Battlefront runs great after I reinstall it, but once I restart the game freezes once I click "Play Game" I ran a virus scan, ad aware, and spybot and found 1 virus that norton cleaned out, basic stuff in spybot that I cleaned out, and nothing in adaware.
