Considering 3rd person mod..

Just a wild idea I had recently - wondered if it would work on the source engine or if anyones tried it. Something stealth based would go down nice.

Creating mod/games I'm not in the nitty gritty - I'm a writer so I hang back. If anyones interested hit me. Literally.

Agreed. It's a question of is there anyone actually willing to "do" the work. Prolly would be big.

I heard a stealth-based project in the making but heard nothing of third person, thought I'd push the boat out a bit.

If anyones interested or likes the sound of it I have some serious/wild ideas which arent out of proportion considering the engine, I'll not say to much though. If not I'll get over it .. ;'<.

I remember the stealth bases mod, too, and what I understood from the screenshots it was indeed 3rd person

I'd had an idea in mind to do something of the Gears of War style camera a few months ago, but I dropped it in favor of something else. I think SMOD even has a camera option like that? You could always ask them if you could use it (and give credit).
