crazy bf42 (and other games) problem

i looked at ati's site, they tell me to update my drivers, which i have, im using 4.4 cats so that should be ok. im pretty sure its a sync problem, and my moniter switches do a different refresh rate when i go into these games. any ideas?

edit: it garbles bf42's menu, everything is blurred and like... swings across the screen really quickly

You might try the refresh rate fix that some people have to use. I can't give you a link, but search for it at any BF42 site.

Hmm I've encountered some pretty weird refresh-related glitches in this game. The nVidia CP allows you to override refresh rates for resolutions, which is how I fixed my problems. Sometimes it could be solved temporarily simply by alt-tab'ing out and back in.
