Is there a FINAL release date yet for the UK ?
Also will the USA get the game earlier ?

Vampire: masquerade is scheduled for a fall release, and i dont think they are allowed to release it before HL2 because V:M uses the source engine. Just a thought

There is no release date at this time, unfortunetely (though it's possible we might get one very soon). Last I heard it would be a simultaneous worldwide release.

Of course, if the worldwide release idea doesn't go through, there's always Steam. HL2 will probably be made avialable over the Steam network at the same time as the US release date.

Vivendi want this game out just as badly as Valve do. Vivendi haven't been doing that well financially, and HL2 can easily fix these problems.

Can't imagine that happening. Too much money wrapped up and any more lengthy delays could really hurt in the pockets of both companies.

I would much rather think the game will be released soon and whatever court decisions which are made in the coming months (years?) will be resolved monetarily over time.

I heard they are allowed now because of the long delay of HL². So it's possible we might see Vampire: the masquerade earlier than HL².

well u never know...maybe this litigation is their way of trying to get a bigger slice of the pie named HL2.
