Desktop text colour...

Is it possible to change the desktop text colours? I'm sick of using dark wallpapers now, i wanna bright some light into my life :upstare:

At the moment the text is white with a shadow, i know how to turn the shadows off, i just want to know if its possible to change the text colour and if you could tell me/link me on how to do it.
