ok im near the end of the game, im on ANTICITIZEN ONE, and I haven't heard a lick about the story. nothing about whats happened in the period gordon was away, nothing about who the combine are, nothing about breen except that he was the administrator, there were some news clippings in black mesa east but thats about it. There are all of these "side" stories about rescuing elie and dr mossman and alyx, but nothing about the world this takes place in. Im starting to feel like theyre going to tell the entire story after the final boss fight with breen....so did i miss something while i was playing?

i'm afraid you don't find out anything at the end.....looks like we're waiting for half life 3 to find out what's been going on
