Did I miss something?

I dont know where to post this. This is not a topic to discuss or anything I just need help. In some teasers I have watched about half life 2 I have seen that there is some kind of a blush soul that kills a combine. When I played HL2 I never came across anything like that. How come I missed that? Could it be coz I was playing at Easy level at some places? I bought the game and loved it, of course I dont wanna miss anything.

P.S: If the mods have anything against this topic they can just delete it.

They took it out of the game for various reasons.

They really need to send a link to a guide of all the frequently posted stuff like "What are the combine? What are those things in the citadel? What are synths? Where were the hydra?" in the confirmation email when you sign up, so none of this happens.

Well, I do remember seeing a post that was stickied with the phrase "Where's the Hydra?" in it a while back. Its been gone for a while now. But its not like threads like this annoy me. I know there are some people flip out and say stuff like "noob" or "use the search feature" and stuff like that.
