Disabling Auto Save

Please pease tell me there's a way to disable the auto save feature, it makes the game unplayable by skipping every 5 minutes while saving. I don't know what the point is, I'm perfectly capable of saving every so often.

but this only disables autosave after maploads

Go to the save location on your HDD and make the autosave files read only. This works for me :thumbs:
