Driving me insane Help plz!!

Ok first off.. I am stuck in the game due to a bug, right when u get to Black Mesa u get off your hover boat, then go into a room. Once in that room some chick starts talking to u about how its going to be great to have help around here. Then smoke fills up in the room followed by a laser screening. Then a light turns green and the lady whos voice u hear is supposed to open the door for you. Well that doesnt happen for me. I just get stuck in that room, cant go out, cant go into the next part. I have not cheated at all in the game so thats not the problem. What can I do, I went back a level and did it over again and it still happened. I want to post a question on the steam support page but it doesnt even say how to do it... I dont think u can. There is no support for my problem.. its driving me cRaZy. Do I have to re install the game and start over?

Can anyone tell me in detail how to submit a question to the steam support? /cheerz Pocktb00k

Ok I did that and then all the AI intellegence is capput.. no one is doing what they are supposed to do...

try loading from a save before the one you're using and playing through it again.

Tried that one already... and it didnt work.. "sigh" thnx foryour help guyz but I had to re install it..
