Droping items where you want them

Well I just got a house, and I want to furnish it(like putting items on shelves). One problem.. I have my cursor where I want the item to be put down, i shift click the item and it just falls to my feet and sometimes behind me :flame: Anybody else have this problem, or know some kind of fix?

just pick it up and put it where you want it ..pc version: hold down "z" key while your pointer is over the item

I too, had no ****ing clue.

Try dropping everything you have. Takes a little time but the effect when you go out of the iventory screen is priceless, especially if you're in third-person mode and have loads and loads of potions.

I did that once before I turned myself into the cops. Had a GIANT pile of stolen goods on the floor, so they wouldn't get confiscated.

Even with the "z" key its still hard to get that item positioned exactly the way you want it to be. Great for dragging bodies though! :O
