Duetssss.

A friend and I have recently been doing some recordings and we're looking for some more songs to play with. I'm trying to avoid songs that are devastatingly well known (Like Come What May).

Examples of some kinds of things we've done so far are Snow Patrol - "Set the Fire to the Third Bar", "Franklin" by Paramore, "The Scientist" by Coldplay (which isn't naturally a duet), annnd "Your Ex Lover is Dead" by Stars.

Annny suggestions would be very appreciated. =)

ha, just kidding. I haven't heard any of the songs you've listed there besides The Scientist, so I may be way off with what you're looking for, but maybe some Arcade Fire? There is a folk-ish group called Peter and the Wolf that also does duets. And Smashing Pumpkins - "Farewell and Goodnight" -- not really a duet, but it's a nice song.

U2's Windows in the skies acoustic guitar is a great song to duet. Because I have done it before with a friend, and a drummer. Real good and easy. Or Do You Realize by the Flaming Lips, another great acoustic guitar song you can duet.
