I guess you're new so we'll take it easy on ya - please don't trust retailer dates - those are placeholder dates for their inventory shipping systems and really don't mean anything. They know about as much as we do.

I was at an EB yesterday and their info said Nov 15. So any date you can pull out of your ass is just as accurate as the next.

That date is old. August old to be exact. I bet EB still doesn't know the game is in RC stage. It'll go gold and they'll be like "HL2 went gold? What the hell does that mean?"

EB can keep their precious Nov. date while I'll be playing it in Oct. :thumbs:

Technically, the retailors have been more accurate than Vavle. Keep in mind that the vast majority of retailors had the date changed BEFORE the last supposed release date back in September of last year. Valve didn't bother to make a statement until after. Not that Valve didn't know it wasn't going to release... they just didn't bother to change the date or tell us.

What makes yah say that? If VU are delaying accepting the RC till 8th oct, thats not going to leave much time for a oct release. But again we're all just guessing ;( ;( ;(
