I noticed some strange things. My first HL experience was half-life 2(which rocked my world like it did to everyone else),but I felt confused with the plot.So I got a brand new sealed HL anthology from e-bay,and loved it.But I noticed something.I never saw Eli,Dr.Kleiner, but when you open Freeman's locker at the beginning, you can notice the picture of a toddler inside, which might be Alyx.hmm....

Endlessly speculated about. The picture is an easter egg, i think it's a kid of one of the programmers. Because HL2 in many ways simply reverse engineers HL1 and pretends that things happened, it manages to have characters that technically never existed. Kleiner isn't ingame as far as I remember at all. Eli is retroactively the scientist who sent you to the surface. Alyx was very small then, about... 5 years old? By the way, I think that does indicate that there were living quarters in BM, because Eli claims he got out with only her. So unless she was a lab baby... :D

Your name is cool.

Lab baby?!
Huh.. she turned out okay..

Um..thanks about the name thing.....Snarks are only cute until they start running towards you with that squeaky little thingy.:stare:

I just thought it was kinda weird.

Well, if you think about it it's obvious that HL2 has the thinnest of connections to HL1. The storyline abruptly warps quite immensely, but because of the random factor (Gman) and the other random factor (SCIENCE!) it's totally plausable.

Sort of.

ROFL

i just now thought up a theory that maybe G-man has some kind of power that allows him to reshape the past. . .
