BIGGER SPOILER. You have been warned...
The Energy Balls are seen in the room with the core. When it comes to activating the 3rd stabilizer beam(I call them Stabilizer Beam Emitters), you gotta grab 1 of the balls going threw the vent you went threw before.

Yeah, cheers, figured it out.
Took me a while to figure out that u gotta shoot the plasma balls at it at an angle
