Episode 2 help Stuck :D (spolier)

Hello guys have a small problem I am on chapter 5 ''Under the Radar'' part!!! Basicaly i am stuck in the big yellow mansion wher eu are surrounded by combine soldires and those 3 leged things !!! i kill like 50 of the soldires and like 6 of the thingys and i cant go any further!!! Can someone tell me how i get past here because its actually pissing me off and i am literli out of ammo i tryed everything!!! but cant go out side the house !!! Cheers

Yeah, basically. Before too long, the hunters will bust open the doors and try to kill you.

Once you kill them, you can go through the doors they broke through, back up the hill, and then you can turn off the power to the force fields after you kill the guards up there

i am kinda runing out of ammo so like i dont think i be lasting too long well my car is behind the actuall house not in the force fields lol!!! i left it decided to chekc the house out!!! guess thta might eb a bug and dosent help much ^^

Here are some tips:

-Use gravity gun to pull water heaters off the walls and take out the hunters and soldiers.
-Run outside if you need to to pick up ammo from killed combine (there is a way out front maybe through the basement if I remember correctly)
-Give Alyx a hug for me and tell her I am going to kick some serious arse come episode 3 on her behalf

hang around the double doors on the bottom floor to set of the trigger which makes a hunter blow them up...

Not quite sure where your car is..try the grav gun, like was mentioned, to move your car. There's a good bit of health packs (esp in the basement) of that 'inn,' and a bit of ammo, especially crossbow bolts that I remember. If you're still out of ammo..try lowering the difficulty. I had no problems on hard with ammo, but I died a good number of times...there's a final wave of a few hunters during which Alyx says "This place is a death trap, let's get out of here!" and you should leave the house and fight outside / run.

You'll need to go back up the hill, take out a few guards, and turn off the power generator (follow the electrical wires) to be able to drive through the forcefield.

I assume those hunters and MORE soldiers will follow you up the hill though, so if you aren't fast, you'er going to have to fight them too. I'm pretty sure Alyx will NOT get into the car with you if there's enemies nearby...but I could be wrnog.

Note: actually, once I left the 'inn,' (ignorant that I am!) I wasn't sure what to do...I drove off, down away from the whole inn area, and got a supply cache I had missed before when I drove up the hill. Alyx was pissing me off because she was on foot and had her pistol drawn..she wouldn't get in the car. I wasnt sure if it was bugged...but a minute later I notice the reason she's "in combat" (to use wow terms) is that coming down the road up the hill are 2-3 hunters and 4-6 soldiers. I had full health and some extra ammo from the supply cache..and they weren't very hard to take out in the open on the road, with grenades, a rocket or two (I think..could be wrong), crossbow bolts, etc. Then I went back to the forcefields...spent 10min biting my nails figuring out what to do, and moved on.

Be adviced about leaving Alyx at a bad moment..she is strong, but she CAN die.

Well, I'm having the same problem. I've killed craploads of them and they don't stop coming. I've run out of ammo and had to resort to using the grav-gun to reel in ammo from dead combine. I think I've killed at least 20+ of the three legged buggers and at least 100 combine. I've died several times and had to load up a quick save. The only thing Alyx has said is "There's more of em coming." I've tried waiting by the double doors (both front and back). And I've even hung out in the basement. None of which kicks in the sequence to get the hell out of that house.

Any ideas?
