Ever encounter Subliminal Messaging?

I have recently become interested in subliminal messaging, not to do it , to see what it is.

In the preview for the movie "red eye" at the end, they start flashing images really fast (you know how previews do) they splice in single frame images of breasts, or the lower section of a girl wearing a mini skirt.

Open the preview in quicktime and you can go through it frame by frame.

Could you provide a link to that, xcellerate? I've watched both the teaser trailer and official trailer of Red Eye start to finish and finish to start. Can't quite see what you're referring to.

Say a movie or commercial is shot at 60 frames a second. And say they put one subliminal message in each second. You're not going to see that single frame, out of 60 in a second's span. But, your mind picks it up... it's tricky. Good thing the government outlawed it.

Really? I used to work at a movie theater and we had that preview. I never saw anything like that on the film. I'll ask some of my friends there to take a closer look if they still have it. Other than that we would always cut out any nakedness/hot women and hang it up. Some goood strips we had in there!(not that kind sicko!)
