Extremely fast chrashing, never had this before

Hi all,

Since a couple of days my computer suffers terribly from fast crashing. When I play a surfmap for 3 minutes I instantly get a hang-up... its unbelevable. When I want to play with friends this is facking fustrating...

My soundcard (integrated in motherboard), motherboard bios, videocard drivers are all updated.

An explanation for this maybe couldbe that I am very into video-editing lately and I use a lot of harddisk space for it, although I dont see why the game would crash the whole time for that... and normal CS is playable and does NOT crash, neither does a HL1 mod like Sven Co-Op...

Any advice to do something? I cant play CSS for even 10 minutes, and I'm making some movies so its very frustrating for me...

I figured it out, its t=my cooling system, since I have my new videocard it makes a whole lot more hot air so my processor cant take it... I'm gonna install me some coolers. But thanks anyway Beerdude :cheers:

Yeah I destroyed my 6800 GS doing that :|

Good thing I've got 3 years garantuee on it
