Fable the Lost Chapters

Just got it for my computer with christmas money. Anyone else play it? What a nifty game.

I got it and thought I would hate it, but I've become addicted...its a shame that its short I've only been playing for 7 hours and my guy is already 40.

Great game. I have Fable for Xbox but I wanted more high res textures and such so I got the PC version too. I've played it for about 5 hours or so but I haven't had much time to play it because of school and work. ;( There's just not enough hours in the day.

Yeah it's a good game, but it's a little short for an RPG. Hopefully Fable 2 is longer.

Meh, I thought the game was about above-average. The main problem I have is with Peter Molyneux and his damn hype-machine. All of his games have so much promise yet none of them deliver. It's become so disheartening to see games never reach the potential it has, Fable being one of them. All of his games can be reviewed with one word, disappointing.

Fable: The Lost Chapters was ok for an RPG, I enjoyed how I was a real bad ass at the end, everyone feared me and I bought practically all of Albion. But I finished it in one day, I've never done that before and the game when you brake it down is linear and it is marketed like it is not wether your good or evil you still have pretty much the same damn quests all thats diffrent is peoples reactions to you, which are pretty entertaining anyway because they adjust and crap. Plus I'm sick of "IN DIS GAME U CAN B GOOD OR EVIL!!!!"
Fable is in my oppinon one of the only games that you could call gay because in game you wen't on shopping spree's, had makeovers, gay relationships, gay marrige and gay sex but you aren't forced to do that but it's there nonetheless. I suppose you'd have to be an RPG fan to appreciate Fable.
The graphics are too system intensive for there quality, the game play is standard and the sound is crap.
Oh and I broke a mouse in this game.

The only reason anyone would be dissapointed with Fable is that they bought into the hype. Never get hyped up, and you will see how fantastic games are. People get their expectations up, and when they are not met they feel let down and that ruins their fun.

But yeah, its a great game... I enjoyed it mucho and played through it twice so far.

I ignored the hype, barely knew anything about it and still found it crap. Nothing more than a VERY linear hack and slash action game with tiny levels.

I'll play a bit in the morning, from the videos I've seen and the Gamespot review...
It should be quite fun.
Always loved Lionhead's work.

Space on my HDD was taken up because of the abiltity to be gay in a game I diden't like.

I unfortunately followed development and bought into all of the great things they said they were going to implement for this title. What a serious effing letdown when they then take a full half of those things out of the game. Left me with a slighty pretty hack and slash with almost no depth. So sad--Fable 2 should be much better...I hope.
