first what character are you trying to use. u need to go into phomene editor load your wav then do redo extraction and it gives u a box to type the sentance u want the character to say. then do commit extraction to extract the phoemenes from the audio. also in the video u didnt create a new choreo scene or create an actor. try doing some tutorials in face poser.

this time

1I load the barney model.
2Create new Choreography scene.
3 inser actor (name : Jasper)
4 click phoneme editor
5 load wave file
6 redo extraction and typ the words.
7 tha i get error:an error eccured during extraction

in output is says: ERROR Sapi 5.1 unable to create or reconizer context
finished

I tried it so much times.. pleas help!

you need to do commit extraction to get the phomenes. also make sure your wave file is in the right format.

it is the right format..
I cant commit extraction caus ... redo extraction already dont work.. Thats givving the error..

watch video clearly I really need some help here.. SNif snif

where can i set the 22050 bps in audacity????..

i have 4410Khz 16 bit.. pcw wav..

but where to find the 22050 bsp in audacity???

I think i have the solution

Along with getting the SDK 5.1 files and setting up my audacity, i had to do one more thing to get the file extraction to work.

What i did was i simply placed the .wav file inside the Half life 2 folder (sdk_faceposer_samples)
the path was
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\nightlizard\half-life 2\hl2\sound\sdk_faceposer_samples

for me.

So record your .wav with audacity and place the wav file in the "sdk_faceposer_samples" folder. Then open up the face poser program and load the .wav into the phoneme extractor from the sdk_faceposer_samples folder.
After that do the "redo extraction" and see if it works.
Let me know what happens.

to make it more simple, you need to put the .wav file in the sound folder or else it wont recognise it properly, apparently.

try adding the phomenes by hand, i've tryed my hand at it before and get the same as you. Just stick them in manualy, it's alot slower and annoyingto do, but it's better than nothing, with my irish voice face poser has a hard time locking on

I take it you didn't get it to work that way as well... god why is wehn i post the thread dies!

Hey spunky16 you can change your bps by clicking the audio track and scrolling down to set rate.
