Fakefactory HL2 Cinematic Mod V4.0

Hey all, first time poster here, looked to see if anyone else made a thread about this but couldn't find one. On to the topic...

I downloaded the latest version of the Cinematic mod yesterday and have been having problems with it. For instance, in the beginning of the game when you start to go down the hallway to get to Barney, my framerate goes to hell. I'm talking like 2-4 FPS. I also get the same issue with the cinematic mod for Episode 1. Haven't been able to make it past Dog pulling Gordon out of the rubble with the framerate so bad.

I know the mod itself is a resource hog, but I have plenty of that as my system is no slouch. Is anyone else having this issue with the new version of the mod? I don't want to go back to the older version but I will if I have to. I'll post my system specs at the bottom of the post.

RAM: PNY 2GB @ 650MHz 4-4-4-12

I've been hearing stories about the 8000 series and Vista. Did you update your drivers lately?

Well i practily have the same system as that , but i have xp-64x and i do not have any proplems. When i had 1gb that happened . I would restart the computer and when it loads up do not open anything , then you should be fine.
