faster release for other countries?

Steam has been saying that when hl2 is out that you can activate it. But i live in aus and it takes ages to ship here, so will i get the game when it is released in America or when it arrives in aus?

no, Valve said theyre "aiming" for a Synchronous Worldwid release!

so...technically yes, logistically ....no, because of your location, but al the same, you can get it off the old boiled water vapour!!

As reported in a thread a moment ago, and in the Valve Info Thread last week, there will be a simultaneous worldwide release.
