In my bios i have it set to load from the HD First, although, after the boot screen, it tells me this:

Fastrack 378 Bios xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
2003 Promise Technology
Scanning IDE Drives. . . . . . . . . .

No drive attached to FastTrack Controller. The BIOS is not installed.

Does anyone know whats causing this or how i can get rid of it? Thank you.

How about not having it read from the HD first? ... Choose the floppy.

FastTrack controller is the RAID/SATA controller, don't think about it. Atleast that's what it does on my mobo.

You want your first device to be floppy in case something happens to your computer.

But you can change that whenever you want, and if you can't change it then you won't do anything with having it as first boot device.

Heck, I haven't even got a floppy in my PC atm.

I hope you weren't directing that at me :hmph:

Mine does the same thing bandit...and seeing as im here talking on this forum, it apparently doesnt mean anything.

FastTrak = IDE RAID controller. If you are not using it, simply disable it in BIOS and that message will no longer show.
