Whats your favourite mods?
I need to get some and I dunno what to get.:x

Garry's Mod, Hidden: Source, and Battlegrounds.

SMod.

and if you're looking for half-life 1, brainbread is the pwn.

SMod: Remastered for HL2. It's a near-perfect mod, I just wish that the damn music wasn't so load and intense.

Sven-Coop for HL1. I can't wait for Sven Source :D.

SMOD, or SMOD Remastered Redux.

Bullet time, ironsights, enhanced AI, and much more.

Hmm.

Empires
Gmod
Hidden:Source
The Battlegrounds 2

And a heap of singleplayer ones. There's quite a few.

Plan Of Attack... too bad it's pretty much dead. Hidden: Source is pretty cool but doesn't really have the catch that would make me play it longer than few night in a row.

I usually don't play much multiplayer, but when I do... Battlegrounds 2. Sourceforts was fun too.

For singleplayer, Minerva was good but I kind of preferred Day Hard. It had some weird issues but it was a lot of fun. I like games that don't take themselves too seriously.

1. Dystopia
2. Minerva: Metastasis (****ing awesome)
3. Sourceforts
4. The Hidden: Source

On my trying out-list: BattleGrounds 2, Empires

I played a few rounds of BG2 yesterday, and decided that I don't really care how many people play it, because it sucks.

the graphics or the gameplay..?

mabe ill try out bg2

The gameplay.

The graphics wern't exactly Crysis, but they worked for me.

The whole "reload after one shot har har har!" thing got on my nerves quick, and the map designs wern't really creative at all. "Hey look, a plain-looking British village! Cool!"

i love it anyway. you have to get used to the slowpaced yet frantic gameplay.

BG2 mod is an interesting mod. At first glace, it looks like a pretty serious mod. But after playing it a while, you find that the action is actually anything but realistic. The deciding factor, imo, if you're going to like the mod or not is whether or not you like frenzied melee combat. When i played this mod, it was almost always "shoot, then rush in with your bayonet" or some slight variation. I'd say the gameplay is not as dumbed down as straight tdm, but its definately not one of the deeper mods out there (like Empires). Of course, its still fun, but it might seem too mindless for some.

SMod, Minerva. That Day Mod or whatever it was called was quite fun to play, even though it was buggy to shit.

SMOD Remastered: Redux
The Specialists(HL1)
GMod
Hidden: Source
BrainBread (HL1)
Digital Paintball(HL1)
Natural Selection (HL1)
Empirs (HL2)

EDIT:

Weekday Warrior?

I loved Dystopia but haven't really got the time for Multiplayer ATM. Minerva is the only Single-Player mod i've played that was worth playing. G-Mod goes down as the only mod i've ever failed to enjoy first-hand, yet have enjoyed by proxy through other people's creations.

The most time I spend on HL2 mods were Gmod and Hidden: Source but there aren't any mods out there at the moment that gets my fully attention.

I would love to see Sven Coop en Natural Selection on de Source engine ;)

I would give someone elses leg for The Specialists:Source, but the team stated that won't happpen.

for hl1; brainbread and natural selection PWN.
for hl2: I havent found many good or finished mods, but so far I like smod, gmod, and pilotable strider mod (how come hardly anyone plays it? it OWNS!)
