Firefox has been crashing on me lately. 100% randomly too.

I'll be reading an article or something online for a half hour or so, only tab open, then BAM, crash.

Sometimes the crashes are every 5 minutes, sometimes they're every other hour. It's completely random.

Version i'm running is 2.0.0.3

Extensions I have installed are "All-in-One Sidebar", "Auto Copy" (installed recently, might be the cause i'm thinking, will disable, "del.icio.us", "Firefox Extension Backup Ext", "Fire FTP", "Greasemonkey" (never use it though, will disable and see if it helps), "Mouse Gestures", "Session Manager", "Tab Effect" (disabled), and "Video Downloader".

It's really pissing me off :(

EDIT: Uninstalling them didn't do squat.

Well, my Firefox crashes around 2wice a month, and IE crashes at least daily for me. So your best bet is to fix FireFox, because it is much better.

The exact same thing happens to me as well. No matter if I have a Fresh install of Firefox, or a fresh install of WinXP itself. It might only be a coincidence, but it started to happen right after the last Firefox version upgrade. From the various forums I have been reading, this is a widespread problem that is happening to a huge amount of people using Firefox. As of the last time I looked, no one knows why it happens.

Thank god Firefox has the resume Session option.

I have however reverted back to security prone IE.

Why not see if you can grab the previous version of FF? IE is an option too.

I have not had FF crash much although I have had flash mess up on both FF and IE.

Just wait for the new version, maybe it'll work. Instead of using Ie, get opera, way better than Ie, a good firefox alternative

Same here. It only started happening after the recent update.

Hmm........

Opera used to crash on me every other MINUTE.

If you're getting all those crashes maybe it's time to format and start fresh?

You're right, I DO need to format, BADLY.

But not just yet. I have a few games I want to finish first (so I don't have to format and pick up on them).
