First day with my own Acoustic Guitar - HELP.

Hey, today I rented myself an Acoustic Guitar, but I have no clue how to play it. I have barely touched a guitar before, and I need some tips and good sites to learn from. Thanks.

try learning your favorite acoustic song. find the tab for it and take it 1 step at a time. you might wanna try learning basic chords as well. I have been playing for 6 years and thats how i started.

Google for some basic guitar tips. Also, download an Acoustic Guitar Tuner, because it's hard to hear in the beginning. I meddled with guitar, never got into it.

tough as shit but after you've learnt most of it you'll have much better fingers and have a good ground for more cool tabs. focus on one tab and learn it thoroughly rather than randomly skipping tabs

Promptly set it alight and fling it against the nearest solid surface. Practice this several times, and when you feel comfortable enough with it, make it a part of your daily warmup.
