For anyone who cares.. A new video server!

The HL2 videos are now at www.files.third-core.org and we don't plan on moving for them for a couple of days. I know they aren't exactly new or anything but I need some traffic*.

*When I was unplugged for sharing the 660MB HL2 file, I made a HUGE deal about bursting to my new host and now our average is 3Mbs and he is making fun of me. Meany! ;-)

5 or 7 minutes on T1 or DSL 786 perhaps. Takes me 2-3 hours on DSL 384 @ 44.6 kb

I have cable which maxes out at 3Mbit quite often. /me loves country living: cable, but hardly anyone uses it.

What were their reasons for unplugging you? Re-distribution of the E3 2004 file or did they not appreciate the traffic?

the traffic was too much for them.. Supposedly. They have a bad rep for unplugging servers(now I learn..), so that is what they did. My new DC is great in the way they have no plug pulling ability(my host has a 20x20 cage rented and they just pipe bandwidth to him).
