sup, ive got a few questions.

first my comp specs

2.4ghz processor
256megs of ram.

64mb ati rage graphic card


Ok hl2 runs great for me, but i had to turn down a few things, im playing at the following

640x480 resoulution
medium quality models
low sound quality
everything else on low or off.

like i said the game runs well, and still looks very good, except when im out in the open, or look off into certain directions, which tends to give me an fps of about 5 or 10.

im thinking about updating my graphic driver, but i dont think it will make much of a difference. is it worth my time???

also sound stuttering seems to be a bit of a problem only when the fps drops, is anyone else expeirencing this??

maybe its autosave, sometimes lags, do sv_autosave 0, see if it makes a difference...

also its probably ur ram, u need more than 256

yea, its not auto save. is there anyway to boost how my ram performs, or any other way to make it faster without buying more ram?

u can overclock it, but its pointless, jsut get more ram
