Free Half Life 2 Shipping?

Last Winter/Spring I bought a new ATI graphics card. With the card came an offer to recieve Half Life 2 free when it came out. I registered online -- and now am waiting for my free copy.

Has anyone heard when they'll start shipping these free copies?

I thought that the certificates were for the bronze package available through steam? You should just be able to download it and unlock it?

You had the option to get boxed copy, or Steam version.

The boxed copies are shipping in Janurary though (which is why I got the Steam version!)
