Freeman Sliding Around - Can't Control!

Weird... suddenly after playing this game for almost a year, Freeman sometimes starts sliding around like on ice-skates, in a particular direction! He will return to normal randomly, like if you run/slide into another room, or a different level or jump onto something, but not always...

Anyone else experienced that?

Can't say that i have, although i have heard about it on here before so no doubt someone will know the answer, they always do

New one on me. All i can say is try validating your files, no luck. Reinstall.

bad frame rate perhaps.

How does one validate files?

The frame rate seems to be fine.

Validated files and checked out ok. Will try the friction 4 command - cheers guys.
