If I were to freeze, then later defrost, BLTs and ploughman snadwichs (ploughmans is cheese, letuce, mayo, pickle etc) would I get:

a/. A tasty and nutricious lunch?
b/. Food poisoning?
c/. A melted pile of soggy mess that will taste of aids?

I intend to try it unless somone knows of a good reason I shouldn't. Anything pertaining to option b would be of particular interest.

(b) If you let it stay moist for a while. (c) if you consume it instantly.

If you do it fast enough it might explode...

Yeah, by the way, what does AIDs taste like? :P

C

But who the hell named that sandwich, Ploughman... I mean seriously.

It tastes exactly like soap doesn't

Ok, so we have established that this plan would result in food less appealing than a plate of turds with piss gravy. However, does anyone know of any reason (from a health perspective) not to do this?

So far my research tells me that cheese doesn't freeze well, but as far as I am aware, all other ingredients can be frozen.

It will not taste very good at all. I could understand if it didn't contain the greenery, but lettuce generally tastes very bad after its been frozen.

Your food will tasty really damn bad. It'll probably be nutritious in some odd way, but it'll really taste like shit.

I lol'd so hard at this.

The fact that you pointed that out made me lol.

I wouldn't freeze a Ploughmans snadwich, seeing as frozen bread gets a bit funny after a while. SOGGY, if I may.

I'm so very reminded of the Simpsons episode where Homer gets sick from the big sandwich.

"Just three more feet and I can fit it in the fridge!"

I like that he takes it to bed with him. Sandwichlove. SNADwich love.

Henceforth, all supermarket chains must name their "sandwiches" the correct term, "Snadwiches" in order to gain sufficient revenue.
