Friends beta killed my steam

I downloaded friends beta, and now my servers come up with nothing. It says cannot connect to master server list. SO now I can't play. Is there any way to uninstall the friends beta? I tried to delete the code I pasted in the properties, but it's too late as the steam updated now. Any ideas on how to either get rid of friends beta or to fix this? Thanks!

Try deleting ClientRegistry.blob and restart Steam. That fixes everything.
