Minor SPOILERS AHEAD for the part where you drive the car!

So... I can't be the only one who has spent time playing with the giant crane in the coast level.

The boats and the trailers behind the fence are part of the scenery and can't be moved.

I did manage to overload the physics engine though!

I threw a ton of stuff into one of the open trailers and then picked it up. Moving it slowly was ok, but if you try and swing it around it starts to stutter and get "stuck" in space and do really weird things.

I wouldn't call it a bug, as I am sure Valve knew people would do stuff like that, but a normal player wouldn't and it never happens in actual gameplay.. just when you TRY and make things fail. Hehehe. I think the problem is too many objects bumping into each other... a commpn problem to any physics engine.

I have the save game here if anyone wants to play. Load it and just swing teh crane at full speed to the left and watch the fireworks. Cavet: I don't know if it's possible to swap save games.. I think I got the files needed.

So anyone else get the game to do odd, amazing or funny stuff? I am having a blast with the crane.. will get back to the real game tomorrow. :-)

Sorry, but I don't trust Zip files.

Somewhere in the first few sections there's a room filled with explosives, and as soon as you enter it man-hacks attack. I wanted to be quick about it and just blew up the whole room

Then I realized something... I just blew up a wooden walkway into one of the vent shafts. Nothing mission critical, but still... I was missing out on something!

So, in the course of the next 45 minutes ( I can't believe how much time I spent with this) I build this with the limited supply of barrels that didn't explode:

And for what?

Neeevaaaar!!!

That'd be the day when I start using cheatcodes :)

and i think this is exactly what valve wanted us to do.

imagine that

LMFAO! I noticed that vent, but didn't bother. Nice one, Sidd...Roffle my waffle....
That's the defenition of irony, that is.

I didn't know that there was a wooden walkway to the vent. I thought it was some kind of bizzare desing flaw or something. I took a barrel and placed it on top of the pipe that leads to the vent. Much easier than piling up stuff from the floor up.

Haha, that sucks. Nicely done, though.

I knew I saw something in that vent and I actually began to pile up barrels to get up there, but then I thought I couldn't be assed to care so I moved on. But, nice use of stacking.
