Funniest/Coolest/ Weirdest Death or Kill!

Funniest death: Pinned to a wall by my nuts with a crossbow bolt.

Coolest Death: Rocketed, backflip over two bunkers before i land, or falling down a ladder in dm_gasworks, lovely ragdoll there.

Weirdest Death: Rocketed in Rocket Tower in dm_gasworks, fall over railing, end up hanging down from the railing by the tip of my foot, i died like this twice in a row. Or getting rocketed so hard you get blown out of the map!

Funniest Kill: Shot someone up the t**t with a double shotgun blast while underneath him on a ladder, killed him in two shots.

Coolest Kill: Rocketed a rebel in a team DM in dm_crossfire3, she came down again literally 7 seconds later.

Weirdest kill: Shot the car around dm_overwatch, literally all over the map, smashed a crowd of people into a corner, none of them lived.

yea i got a funny death. one time i was in a narrow hallway and a guy came around the corner and i shot him with the crossbow and it killed and pinned the guy's dead body againsted the wall behind him. then another guy came into the hallway and came in with his back to me to look at the guy pinned to the wall then i shot him in the same way and he got pinned to the wall on top of him so it looked like the 2 guys were making out LMFAO!!!

I once got three people in the hallway at Lockdown with one crossbow bolt! Apparently it goes through all the way through them if they're not near a wall.

Sounds interesting. I might have to check that out. ASAIK the bolt is removed from the map as soon as it hits on person, and doesn't impale them to the wall.

Once there was this guy sniping at everyone with the crossbow from a combine watch tower, and I managed a direct hit on him form ground level with a flammable barrel using the gravity gun. Even him in all his 1337ness, said it was a ncie shot.

The edit button doesn't seem to be working, so I'll go ahead and double post.


Once, I was idle for a long while, while connected to a server. I thought the game was pretty fun so I didn't disconnect while I left the PC. Obviously, the other players, noticing my inactivity, were blasting at me for fun. So, when I got back, I saw this guy toying with me, as he was looking for something to crush me via gravity gun. So, he's circling around me, and when he's finally about to shoot me, I draw my pistol and shoot him dead. Must've frightened him, I suppose.

funniest:I was collecting explosive barrels in lockdown in a cart but accidently fell in a pit. with the expolives.coolest: Som1 came so I decided to shoot barrels but he through a grenade in and blew me to peices. I jumped off a balcony while som1 shot me with a RPG making me fly extremly high.Wierdest: I got toileted but a pyhsics error or somthin popped up and I de-materialized. Funnykill: I crossowned a explosive barrel killing a huge amount of people. I hid behind a whole pile up of items, so I broke a little crate and through a grenade through the hole. I saw a message say:GRENADE. Damn they ran. But no the debris killed them when I saw the bodys they where chairs and broken crates and a car! Wiredest Kill: I crossboed around a area, and so a guy with a mic said: WHOA SNIPER! I then threw a grenade and tryed killen him softley. He died but the way he died on the HUD said crossbow.

A combine somehow got into our spawn in 2fort, and was spawn killing us for a while. I wasn't excactly irked as impressed on how everything was just timed right for him to enter.

The most "mass" frags I ever got was a long time ago around the time HL2DM was first released. It was regular "free for all" DM on dm_overwatch with a full or nearly full server. That of course meant unbearable lag. I was pushing a car with the grav gun when I heard a lot of commotion in the "garage" area. So after a few attempts I manage to shove the car through, and kept on pushing. There was some lag due to the amount of people and when it stopped then on the top-right hand of my screen were clear messages "DoctorWeeTodd[skull]________ "I checked my score and turns out I killed over 12 people during the lag. I continued pushing and got another two more before someone fired an energy ball right at me.

PS: Is there a way to turn off the red you get when you die without using cheats? This could lead to much better screenshots.

I once killed somebody by shooting him in the head with my .357 and simultaneously some other guy nails him to the nearby wall with a crossbow bolt. The weirdest thing is that both of us got a kill. I really should have taken a screenshot of that unique situation, but I was too confused/amused at the moment

there was a guy holding the roof in overwatch and i was none to pleased about that. When he was laying mines around the stairwell, i ran into the second story, grabbed some slams, then ran out. As i kept hearing the tell tall beeping noise of someone laying slams, i tossed one on the ground, grav gunned it up onto the roof, and detonated it before my opponent could do anything. killed his ass and detonated all his mines.

another time an enemy player was rushing into the mega charger room in lockdown, i was low on health and currently holding the x-bow. So as he rushed in, i lept out of one of the broken windows, did a 180, and killed him with some hot rebar before i hit the ground

most awesome kill by far had to be on this now defunct server that was a grav gun only, low grav, super charged grav gun, server. People were fighting each other by flinging the cars at each other. I once caught someone in midair with a car, it was awesome. Most awesome death had to be when i got nailed with a truck in mid jump.
